All Madame Spoons cakes are bespoke and designed specifically for each couple; therefore, pricing does reflect this. Be assured in the knowledge that you are investing in a professional and personable service with a high-quality finish to your cakes. I will work with you in a collaborative process to create a cake design that is as beautiful as it is delicious.
The price of a wedding cake is a difficult question. Like all aspects of your wedding, there are a number of aspects which can vastly impact the price:
- The number of portions
- When you are going to serve the cake, and therefore the size of the portions
- a. in general if the cake is being used to replace the dessert and no other dessert is being served, I would recommend a dessert size (2.5cm x 5cm x 10cm height), which is 6.50€ HTVA per portion.
- b. If the cake is being served after the dessert, or with a selection of other desserts, or with coffee, I would recommend a coffee size (2.5cm x 2.5cm x 10cm height), which is 3.25€ HTVA per portion.
- These prices are the basic pricing without decoration and delivery.
- 3. The most important part: the complexity of the design, the decorations, and the number of sugarflowers, and this is where the price can really vary. A handmade sugarflower rose, for example, starts from 25€HTVA per flower.
- Delivery & Set up: I personally deliver and set up all the wedding cakes to ensure everything goes smoothly, this is covered by a 50€ set up charge. I deliver to venues all over Belgium and the cost of delivery is calculated based on the return mileage from my workshop.
